Hello, I'm Annette 

I live in a rural village in Staffordshire with my hubby, we have just moved into a little cottage built in the early 1800’s, I feel so lucky to be here it is my dream.

We have 3 large dogs, 3 cats. We also have chickens and a noisy cockerel. 

I love to craft, in the past I was hugely into knitting and crochet but unfortunately my hand causes me pain now so I cannot do either, I moved on to dressmaking, however how many clothes do you need ? 🙃

I paint with watercolour paints I just love their unpredictability, just like me. 😂 Coloured pencils are my other medium and I love to sit in the evening creating art with these.

My art is inspired by all animals, though I have a special love for woodland creatures. I especially enjoy bringing them to life through gentle, whimsical illustrations. On walks through the woods near our home with my 3 dogs, I often catch glimpses of woodland animals. They spark my imagination and inspire the gentle, whimsical illustrations I create.
